At Ecclesall Kids Club safeguarding the children in our care is paramount. We work hard to ensure our current practice is the best it can be, so we work within the guidelines set by Ofsted and also Sheffield Childrens Safeguarding Partnership (SCSP). All our Safeguarding training is delivered by SCSP and refreshed at regular intervals, all staff who work for us including supply staff are DBS checked and have undertaken basic safeguarding training. We believe safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility and its something all of us should be switched onto at work, home or anywhere. Any Safeguarding concerns connected to the Club should be discussed with us as soon as possible via our Designated Safeguarding Leads, these are our Managers or Supervisors who hold safeguarding qualifications at a higher level.

SCSP Sheffield Children Safeguarding Partnership – sscb (safeguardingsheffieldchildren.org) produce excellent guidance and contacts for children themselves, parents, families or member of the public who may have concerns about the safety or welfare of a child or children outside our club environment

We need your continued support to ensure we can deliver these policies and we would like to draw your attention to our Mobile Phone Policy with regard to the use of your own mobile phone or your child’s mobile phone within the club.
